What's Yallo?
Yallo is a community centre with a differenceIt’s a place for the Dalyellup community to connect. It’s a place for you.
Yallo is designed especially for the Dalyellup community. We’re here listening to you. What do you need? What do you want? How do you feel?
Yallo brings people together. We make connections to help make these things happen. But, most importantly, we need YOU to make it all work.

But what is Yallo?
Like a lot of new words, it’s got a few meanings! In the Urban Dictionary, Yallo means to achieve the impossible or get much more than expected. It’s also a mashup of yeah or yes and hello.
We just like it because it’s warm, friendly and fun. It’s welcoming, just like the space we’re creating.
Why Yallo?
During the 2017 WA State Election, funding was committed for a new community hub in Dalyellup.
During the 2018-2019 community consultation with Dalyellup residents, feedback consistently highlighted the need for better services, more inclusion, a greater sense of belonging… and better coffee!
Cue the birth of Yallo!
We can’t promise good quality coffee (yet!) but Yallo does promise to offer a variety of exceptional programs and services to nurture our children and support the young people, individuals and families of the Dalyellup community.
Funded by the Department for Communities, Investing in Our Youth and Milligan are proud to bring the Dalyellup community a leading, unique community hub that captivates the needs and wants of the very people it is here to support.

Milligan
Milligan’s mission is to activate and harness the vibrant strengths of our community through valuable, creative and ethical opportunities to be heard; to build empathy for others; and through the power of shared experience.
We strongly believe that humans need to connect with other humans. Communities are strong when people have the opportunity to have fun, to laugh and to experience things together.
We work directly with the community to create free, inclusive and accessible events.
At Yallo, we’re working with the Dalyellup community to create this amazing new space designed especially for the Dalyellup community. We’re here listening to you. What do you need? What do you want? How do you feel?
